Facilities Repair Worker - Adv

*POSITION SUMMARY* This position is responsible for buildings and grounds maintenance and repair, including, but not limited to, various inspections, adjustments and repairs of mechanical equipment, and assisting other maintenance staff.
Additional responsibilities include directing and supervising inmate workers and work crews in work assignments and coordination of the work.
The Facilities Repair Worker - Advanced shall comply with the Department’s administrative rules and the agency’s policies and procedures including those related to the Department's overall Reentry philosophy of using evidence-based strategies, practices and programs which target an inmate’s individual criminogenic needs and risk level.
This position requires the ability to climb and work from ladders, scaffolding or hydraulic lifts.
Also, the ability to work under unpleasant conditions such as dirty and dusty areas, extreme cold/heat and small or confined spaces.
Moderate to heavy lifting will be required.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $21.
