We are looking for a daytime bartender to facilitate an enjoyable experience for any and all customers.
Bartender responsibilities include ensuring our the are area is clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages.
You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude.

*Responsibilities*
* Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
* Attend to customers upon entrance
* Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage and food preferences.
Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
* Take and serve orders
* Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
* Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
* Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
* Informing customers about new drink and food specials.
* Promote any and all in house events/promotions.
* Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
* Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
* Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
* Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
* Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
* Facilitate and be open to forging new and ongoing relationships with new and return customers.
* Promote yourself and Fat Joe’s to increase customer interest and frequency.
*Requirements and skills*
* The ability to lead or follow in conversation with customers.
* Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience (preferred but not mandatory)
* Hands-on experience in cashier duties
* Attention to cleanliness and safety
* Patience and customer-oriented approach
* Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
* Responsible and trustworthy
* High school diploma is a plus but not required
* Must be able to work nights and/or weekends
* Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
* Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
* Availability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
* Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.

Pay: $45,000.
