Purpose:
The NetSuite Administrator plays a key role in enhancing and supporting our organizational growth, ensuring a balance between cost-effectiveness and efficiency within the NetSuite platform.
This position necessitates a robust knowledge of NetSuite, coupled with excellent communication skills to foster internal collaboration across departments.
This role is instrumental in ensuring the effective use and optimization of NetSuite to support the organization's overall business objectives.
Responsibilities: Solutions Discovery Collaborate with internal team and customers to understand their goals and objectives that lead to effective solutions through design, development, and delivery Listen to understand the internal team and customer’s current design and desired outcomes to build requirements around integrated solution(s) that best utilizes the features and functions AIA has to offer Serve as the internal and external solution expert and consultative resource to provide technical expertise in a timely manner Develop a solid understanding of our technology solutions, how they integrate or could integrate with other technologies and fit within AIA’s standard back office processes.
NetSuite Application Maintain the NetSuite application for internal users.
Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, third-party tools / applications and new NetSuite modules based on evolving business needs.
Serve as the NetSuite SME for managing NetSuite updates, troubleshooting system errors and resolving issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization and integrations.
Customization and Development Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for customizations.
Develop and implement scripts, workflows, and custom fields as needed.
Collaborate with developers for more complex customization projects.
Partnership with the business team Provide internal NetSuite cases support (new saved searches, reports, KPI’s, dashboards, user roles, etc).
Assist with data analysis, business process mapping, reporting needs and improvement/simplification initiatives.
Create business and technical documentation – customizations, workflows and business processes - and keep all documentation up to date.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent - Required BS Degree or similar college degree - Preferred 3-5 years of experience with ERP administration, configuration and 3rd party integrations in complex environments, specifically with NetSuite Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel & NetSuite Knowledge of NetSuite Finance - Preferred Knowledge of scripting and web services - Plus Administrator-level knowledge of the following areas: Custom records and objects, csv imports, page layouts, workflows, saved searches, reports and dashboards Familiarity with roles and permissions Ability to analyze problems, develop and recommend solutions, and resolve issues Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment that places a strong premium on integrity, excellence, execution and teamwork Well-organized, ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy Ability to remain professional and flexible while under pressure A strong understanding of business processes and requirements Project management, system implementation and system integration experience Ability to work independently with minimal guidance Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Competencies Personal Leadership Agile & Adaptable: Responds to change and uncertainty with confidence and openness; seeks new experiences to develop skills; solicits and acts on feedback; learns from experiences; not afraid to take risks.
