Electronics Technician in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
PanelTEK’s product offering includes industrial
electrical control panels and engineering services.
We offer electrical design, engineering, and assembly
of control panels for any industry to our customers.
DESCRIPTION
The Electronics Technician is responsible for the assembly of Electrical Control Panels per customer
orders.
• Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes and subassemblies per customer
requirement.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of material.
• Drill or tap holes to mount control units or to provide openings for components, wiring, or
instruments.
• Utilize a variety of small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and
pliers.
• Complete point-to-point wiring, and install a wide variety of electronic components including
PLCs, relays, lights, switches, etc.
• Red-line documentation as necessary to initiate ECOs through Engineering.
• Perform operations such as deburring, grinding & sawing.
Operate hand pallet jacks to move
material within plant.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
REQUIREMENTS & ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Requires a minimum of a High School Education, or Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired
and 3+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics, electrical diagrams and
an understanding of electrical currents.
Experience in mechanical installation and electrical wiring for
control panels and desks.
Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panel is a
must.
Highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently and in a team environment.
