We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure solutions that support our organization's critical systems.
This role requires expertise in solutions such as VMWare, Veeam, Pure Storage, Windows and Linux servers, and Azure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization, with a focus on ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infrastructure Design and Implementation
Design and implement robust and scalable infrastructure solutions based on business requirements.
Manage and configure solutions such as VMWare, Veeam, Pure Storage, Windows and Linux servers, and Azure environments.
Enhance the design and continued management of the Disaster Recovery program.
System Administration
Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions using Veeam.
Monitor and optimize storage solutions provided by Pure Storage.
Cloud Services Management
Manage and optimize Azure cloud services, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Assist vendor with Citrix environments in both on-premises and cloud-based configurations.
Troubleshooting and Support
Provide advanced technical support for infrastructure-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems and incidents.
Documentation and Training
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations and processes.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to other team members as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure design and implementation.
Proven experience in managing complex, enterprise-level environments.
Strong experience with Backup and Replication.
Proficient in managing Storage environments.
In-depth knowledge of Windows server administration.
Familiar with Azure cloud services.
Experience managing a Data Center
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
PREFERRED:
Experience specifically with Veeam, VMWare, Pure Storage and Dell equipment.
Experience with other backup and recovery solutions besides Veeam.
Familiarity with additional cloud platforms and services beyond Azure.
Previous experience working with diverse storage solutions.
Scripting and automation skills for infrastructure management and deployment.
Relevant certifications such as Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), Pure Storage Certified Implementation Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Oracle Certified Professional, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are a plus.
