The Neenah-Menasha Y is hiring an Esports Specialist.
This position requires an individual who is passionate about video games and is willing to help lead young members through the competitive gaming world in a team environment.
As our first e-Sports Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the supervision of our Tech Lab, development of programming, and device support with our participants.
Working side-by-side with our Sports & Rec Director & Coordinator, the Esports Specialist will mentor participants in a wide range of multiplayer games, coach them to understand the mechanics, strategy and, most importantly, taking their love of the game to the next level.
This is a part-time job with hours primarily in the evenings from 3:00-8:30pm and Saturdays from 8:00am-1:00pm.
Additional hours are available.
18 years of age or older.
Familiarity of most major titles in the esports community.
Good understanding of Discord and the uses for the program.
Ability to communicate and build relationships with people of all ages & abilities.
Competitive gaming coaching or playing experience preferred.
