The Heart of the Valley YMCA is seeking a full-time Gymnastic Program Specialist to help lead our ever-expanding gymnastics & tumbling program.
The Y offers both recreational classes for children & adolescents, as well as a competitive gymnastics team programming.
Gymnastics programming runs in the morning, afternoon & evening.
This is a full-time leadership position, ideal for those with previous gymnastics experience & knowledge.
What You’ll Do
Teach and share your love of gymnastics with participants of all ages & abilities.
Supervise gymnastics instructors, including training and ongoing education.
Responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling & registrations.
Provide additional support to the Gymnastics Director & Coordinator.
18 years of age or older.
Previous experience working with children is preferred.
Prior experience in coaching and/or leading a team is preferred but not necessary.
Post-secondary education or certification related field preferred, but not required.
The Y will provide any continuing education and training needed to succeed professionally.
