**Swim Instructors and lifeguards are needed for the Downtown Y.
**
Most aquatics staff typically work 5 - 20 hours per week.
Lifeguards keep patrons safe by preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies.
They interact with patrons of all ages in aquatic safety and education.
Shifts are available from 5AM-8PM Monday- Friday; 8AM-12PM on Saturdays; and 12-5PM on Sundays.
We work hard to be flexible around school and other job schedules.
Swim Instructors help patrons of all ages and abilities improve their aquatic experience through leading group & individual swim lessons.
They work on skills ranging from basic comfort in the water to stroke refinement and with ages from toddler to adult.
Certification is required to work as a lifeguard, but if you don't have a current one we can train you for FREE.
We will also train and certify you to teach swim lessons.
Bring a strong swimming ability, desire to work with people of all ages, and good customer service skills.
