The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time, One to One Special Education Paraprofessional to work at Westside Elementary School.
This is a 10-month position, working Monday - Friday (8:00am to 3:45pm, 7 hours per day) that offers excellent year-round health and dental benefits.
This position will begin in March 2024.
The right candidate will:
· Work with a student with varying disabilities in supporting educational and/or community programming
· Work with a student one-on-one to reinforce academic material
· Assist student(s) with physical tasks such as putting on and taking off of outerwear, moving from room to room, and using the lavatory
· Monitor and reinforce student performance through observation; perform data collection, compilation and other record keeping duties
