*The Opportunity:*
St.
Francis Xavier Catholic School System is actively recruiting a *JV Girls Softball Coach* for our High School Girls Softball Team for the 2024 spring season.
The JV Girls Softball Coach will inspire, motivate, encourage and develop each student athlete, while teaching proper techniques, rules, and strategies, while modeling sportsmanship.
The ideal candidate will have previous softball coaching experience in an educational setting, general knowledge of softball strategies and the ability to lead and grow an interscholastic program rooted in educational-based principals for athletics.
*Scheduling Details:*
This is a seasonal position for the 2024 season (March - June 2024).
Must be able to work Monday – Friday late afternoons and occasional weekends, and must be able to travel to away games.
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Knowledge of softball strategies and coaching methods required
* Prior coaching experience preferred
* Ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, parents and community
*Compensation:* Nominal stipend
