The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a part-time, Special Education Paraprofessional to work at Woodland Elementary School.
This is a 10-month position, working Monday - Friday (8:00am to 3:45pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch, 7.
25 hours per day) that offers excellent year-round health and dental benefits.
This position will begin August 27, 2024.
*The right candidate will:*
· Work with students with varying disabilities in supporting educational and/or community programming
· Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce academic material
· Assist student(s) with physical tasks such as putting on and taking off of outerwear, moving from room to room, and using the lavatory
· Monitor and reinforce student performance through observation; perform data collection, compilation and other record keeping duties
