POSITION PURPOSE Lakeland University's Kellett School of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies seeks a dynamic and outcomes-focused individual to recruit for Lakeland's undergraduate and graduate programs and build external partnership.
This position will primarily recruit nontraditional students and provide support for prospects throughout the admissions process, including advice on academic programs and accompanying requirements relevant to evening and online degree options available in the Kellett School of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies.
They will provide effective onboarding support to new students and establish strong working relationships with external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Serve as a primary recruiter for undergraduate and graduate students at the Fox Cities Center to meet lead generation and enrollment goals.
Develop and maintain effective relationships including regular visits with local technical colleges, companies, and agencies to raise the profile of the Center and increase enrollment.
Communicate regularly with prospective students with the established communication flow.
Work collaboratively with the registrar's office with the automated operations process in the Student Information module and with the admissions team to effectively utilize the University's customer relationship management tool (Slate) pertaining to records, decisions and other areas.
Utilization and execution of functions within the university's CRM system to assist admission's process Refer students to other campus and community resources as appropriate: faculty mentors, career counselors, financial aid advisors and other student service representatives, other University offices or personnel, and resources external to campus.
Actively support and contribute to work of the center team, student success efforts, and the college mission, acknowledging the center team as a whole is responsible for admissions, enrollment, and retention.
Perform other duties as assigned SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW & SKILLS Qualification Required: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited College or University.
Strong organizational skills and an aptitude to assess the needs of, and effectively communicate with, adult students diverse in ability, background, and academic interests.
Ability to form constructive working relationships with adult students.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in commonly used technologies (e.
g.
, Microsoft Office) and an ability to master new software applications as needed.
Qualifications Preferred: Master's degree from a regionally accredited College or University.
Experience working with returning adult students and a familiarity with teaching and learning principles of adult education.
Working knowledge of the Jenzabar software platform or other relevant Client Relationship Management platforms.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT No or very limited exposure to physical risk; No or very limited physical effort required; Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
