Drug Court Coordinator

Description To provide coordination and oversight to the Fond du Lac County Drug Treatment Court to include intensive case management to participants.
Examples of Duties Duties/Responsibilities: Prepares the agenda and facilitates the Drug Treatment Court Committee meetings.
Drafts policies and procedures regarding Drug Treatment Court.
Screens and assesses referrals using the COMPAS and/or ORAS.
Completes psychosocial assessments and ASAM on referred participants.
Meets with Drug Treatment Court participants one time a week at a minimum for case management.
Creates and maintains confidential records regarding Drug Treatment Court program participants.
Participates and attends required clinical staffing’s and outpatient meetings.
Performs simple statistical analysis on Drug Treatment Court.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to establish a therapeutic relationship.
Ability to work directly with individuals with diverse needs such as: mental health, substance use corrections, etc.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting.
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of DHS 75 regulations.
Knowledge of community resources.
Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
Ability to engage in public speaking events and engage with the public in a professional manner.
Ability to be flexible with schedule on occasion.
General Requirements: Licensed SUD counselor in the State of Wisconsin required (SAC, CSAC).
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
Trained in COMPAS and ORAS, preferred.
ASAM trained.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and automobile insurance.
