Coordinate pricing proposals.
Serve as the liaison between internal customers in the proposal process in providing information concerning pricing, schedule, strategy, risks and metrics and other requests associated with overseeing the proposal process.
Work with Contract Administrators to align price proposals with proper contract formation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Review of proposal inputs for preparation of timely, compliant and accurate proposals submitted to the customer.
Manage proposal status, scheduling, negotiation support and liaison to Contract Administration and Program Management for assigned proposals.
Organize and perform administrative functions required for timely and compliant contract performance.
Assemble information on engineering changes, proposals, contract modifications and price proposals for internal and external customers.
Evaluate and support customer bid solicitations and proposals from a contractual, compliance, business and financial perspective.
Support proposal negotiations with Government as needed.
Ensure that contract activities are timely and in full compliance with legal/governmental requirements (Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Defense Contract Audit Agency).
Interpret contract language and disseminate to company personnel.
Prepare additional data and/or correspondence as may be required by corporate management.
Present a professional image of OSK to U.
S.
agencies and foreign governments.
Work in liaison with Defense and Corporate departments and Government to assist in resolving contract or schedule problems.
Assist with preparation of such additional data or correspondence as may be required by management or the provisions of the contract.
Work closely with the Government regarding new contracts, modifications, and proposals.
Prepare internal company reports along with written & verbal correspondence to the Government as required.
Contributor to annual improvement priorities including process improvements and implementation of best practices.
Provide technical, administrative and research support.
Manage multiple tasks, projects, deadlines; Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Ability to professionally interact with Government representatives and represent Oshkosh at key contract performance reviews and customer briefings, including ability to perform oral presentations.
Ability to travel as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business or related field 3-plus years related work experience Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience with JDE Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Office The ability to communicate effectively, deal diplomatically with customers & dealers, work independently, prioritize and manage numerous projects, and be innovative and creative The ability to work cross functionally in a team environment, challenge status quo, and understand impact to business Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodation to job applicants with disabilities.
