Us 2 Behavioral Health Care is seeking a compassionate, and culturally responsive Dual Licensed, Clinical Therapist to join our team.
As a therapist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, counseling, and guiding clients towards recovery.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct individual and group counseling sessions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for individuals struggling with a mental health or substance abuse.

*Duties and Responsibilities*
❖ Provide mental health and/or substance abuse counseling to individuals, couples, and families.
❖ Conduct counseling in various settings including, but not limited to: Clinic office, onsite school premises, onsite other agencies, and virtually.
❖ Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine diagnosis using DSM-5 criteria.
❖ Identifying treatment goals and develop holistic treatment plans.
❖ Implement evidenced-based treatment modalities to appropriately address diverse clients.
❖ Continually assess client progress while tailoring approaches to individual client needs.
❖ Collaborate with clients’ family members, loved ones, and other service providers when necessary.
❖ Record and maintain records, medical documentation, and appointment schedules.
Collect outcome data.
Provide resources and referrals for client needs.
❖ Communicate with referring and partner agencies.
❖ Attend supervision and agency meetings/trainings.
❖ Maintain the strictest confidentiality of every client situation.
❖ Maintain required licenses and adhere to ethical code of profession.
❖ Ability to effectively use digital technology platforms (electronic medical records, telehealth, IP phone applications, etc)
*Minimum Qualifications*
❖ Minimum of Master’s in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or similar degree from an accredited university program.
❖ Licensed in Wisconsin as an APSW, LPC-IT, or as a LCSW, LPC or LMFT.
Supervision for APSW/LPC-IT completing 3,000 clinical hours is available.
❖State licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor.
❖Strong understanding of substance abuse disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery principles.
❖Previous experience in substance abuse counseling or a related field is required.
❖ Experience providing culturally sensitive mental health treatment and/or working with diverse populations.
❖ Experience working with clients ages 6+ years, couples, and families.
❖ Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
❖ Proven relationship-building skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
❖ Experience working independently and collaboratively with partnering organizations.
