Job Description Summary This position manages the talent acquisition for all (staff, faculty, management) positions while partnering with hiring managers to determine recruitment requirements and guiding them through the process to include requisition approval, best attraction methods, candidate screening and selection, diversity and inclusion recruiting efforts, as well as evaluating and making job offers.
Coordinate and execute functions which support all recruitment and employment efforts and operations of Human Resources in accordance with all applicable laws, established FVTC policies, procedures, and practices.
Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and employment processes for all positions, including identifying tools, methods assessments, etc.
Provide guidance to managers on the recruitment and selection processes that align with diversity and inclusion efforts and affirmative action plan, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, and FVTC hiring practices and procedures, including evaluating compensation and making job offers.
Development and implementation of HR initiatives focused on talent attraction, social media and internet sourcing, building a robust talent pipeline, candidate management and employer branding, strategies to address underrepresentation of minority, and promote diversity in recruitment.
Collaborate with hiring managers to determine interview process and learn critical aspects of position, indicators of success, and ideal candidate profile.
Interpret background check results and follow up as appropriate.
Administer mandated background check processes as applicable per position, DOT background check process, caregiver background checks, etc.
Work with managers to develop, review, and update job descriptions.
Submit background checks to third party entity, ensuring background, employment verification and references are accurate and completed; follow-up with candidates as needed; initiate motor vehicle record checks.
Provide advice and collaborate with compensation leadership and Hiring Managers to determine competitive wage for candidate offers.
Ensure all teaching faculty meet the academic, occupational, and professional development requirements per Wisconsin State Statute, Administrative Code, and HLC requirements.
Evaluate and analyze jobs to make recommendations on the salary grade and classification based upon the colleges compensation programs and guidelines.
Recommend compensation amount for open positions based on the college's compensation guidelines.
Collaborate with managers and Compensation on final offer.
Prepare and distribute contracts for faculty and management positions.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: Represent FVTC at recruitment functions as needed.
Assist with Casual and Student Hiring as needed.
May lead or assist with compliance for DOT testing and contracts.
Provide guidance for and approve NCJTC Associate pay.
Provide expertise in applicant tracking system resolution efforts affecting day-to-day operations.
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources is preferred, AND Three years of recent, related Human Resources experience including recruitment and experience working with the local employment market and community resources, and diversity and inclusion recruiting efforts, OR An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Experience with online application and onboarding technology required.
Experience with Workday or related HRIS software required.
Knowledge of SharePoint and ImageNow preferred.

Additional Information Pay Range: 52,200.
00 - 78,400.
00 Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data.
Note: Internal applicants' wages will be based on the applicable compensation structure.
