Job Description Summary This position oversees technical aspects of the organization's Workday implementation by managing a technical Workday team and partnering with functional leaders to ensure alignment with business objectives to maximize the organization's investment in Workday.
This role also manages Workday Service Management processes related to incidents, enhancements, and changes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and reliability in the delivery of solutions.
Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for the technical integrity of the organization's Workday implementation, including but not limited to integrations and security, and ensuring that all components of the system are properly integrated, implemented, tested, delivered, and maintained.
Lead, coach, and mentor a technical Workday team.
Manage priority, capacity, skills development, and oversee the team's day-to-day activities.
Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by providing responsive and effective support, developing solid working relationships with leadership and end users, and delivering high quality services to meet expectations.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and other partners involved in Workday related projects.
Establish a culture of continuous improvement and implement feedback loops with all stakeholders.
Manage technical Workday projects, monitoring progress and timelines, while managing scope, risks, and resources.
Participate in the evaluation, implementation, and acceptance of Workday releases and maintenance updates.
Implement, oversee, and continuously improve service management processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and reliability in the delivery of solutions.
Processes include but are not limited to Product and Request Management, Change and Release Management, and Incident and Problem Management.
Establish and maintain policies and procedures related to technical standards, security standards, and engineering methodologies to ensure the highest levels of quality, performance, scalability, and reliability of technical assets.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS Create documentation for users and all projects using established standards.
Assist with training and instructing the affected users to exercise the production application software efficiently.
Provide technical assistance to staff, students, faculty, administrators, and Board members.
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in CIS, Business, or related field is required.
AND, A minimum of five years of recent, relevant technical and functional experience with Enterprise and Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Workday HCM, FN, and Student preferred.
AND, A minimum of three years of leadership experience with proven ability to lead technical and cross-functional teams.
AND, Demonstrated process engineering experience and working knowledge of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) concepts.
AND, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
OR An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
ESSENTIAL APTITUDES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Scrum and agile development methodologies.
Ability to think and plan strategically, and integrate and align the work of teams, departments and units.
Strong technical leadership experience including the ability to effect change and motivate.
Proven ability to recruit; retain; motivate and develop a strong development team.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong research, project scheduling and project management skills.
Proven analytical skills.
Superior customer service attitude.
Self-motivated with the ability to perform independently.
Ability to identify and seek needed information.
Highly motivated with a strong interest in contributing to the success of this college.
Willingness to take risks and try new things.
Additional Information Additional Information Pay: $87,500.
00 - $140,100.
00 per year.
Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data.
Note: Internal applicants' wages will be based on the applicable compensation structure.
