*Position: *
We are looking for a kind and compassionate *Medication Aide / Resident Assistant* caregiver that strives to enrich the lives of our senior residents.
Medication Administration certification preferred but not required - WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON!
*Job Responsibilities Include :*
* Accurately disperse and document the administration of all medications
* Administer medication within scheduled times
* Accurately document all resident issues and concerns
* Promptly answer resident call lights
* Assist residents with ADL's (toileting, bathing, clothing, tidies, etc)
* Assist residents with transfers
* Monitor vital signs
* Perform basic wound care techniques (as needed)
* Assist residents to and from meals and activities
* Assist with serving beverages and meals
*Qualifications:*
* Must have, or acquire while employed, a Medication Administration Certificate
* Must communicate well with residents, families, staff, and providers
* Must be able to work well independently AND as a team player
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must have a valid State of WI driver's license
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English
* Must be dependable and able to work your shift as scheduled
* Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand on feet for 8 hours
*PRN On-Call Shift: *6am - 2:00pm
Work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) *OR* every Saturday *OR* every Sunday, and any on-call shifts.
*Wage: *$20 p/hr
