Must be able to utilize database software, inventory software, order-processing systems, and word-processing software.
Must be able to regularly lift/move 50-75 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 75-100 pounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read customer orders, vendor packing slips, transfers, and RGAs to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
Mark materials with identifying information.
Open crates and other containers.
Pack and verify customer orders.
Verify amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Relay discrepancies to proper personnel.
Count or measure items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
Use computer to enter records or reference stock.
Compile worksheet or tickets from customer specifications.
Drive vehicle to deliver orders to customers.
Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
Prepare parcels for shipment.
Maintain inventory records.
Maintain cleanliness of facility and grounds.
Must have knowledge of Quality Standards and safety measures.
May be responsible for cleanliness of vehicles.
May assist customers at counter.
May be responsible for cycle count.
Other related duties as assigned.
