*Position Summary*: This person will lead the team and also work independently to produce submittal drawings to highly detailed working drawings for production.
This person needs to be highly motivated with exceptional critical thinking skills.
They need to have exceptional communication skills with the ability to work with managers and production personnel to meet project deadlines.
*Responsibilities*
* Read and Interpret Blueprints
* Produce working drawings to JA Eisch standards & architect/designer specifications using AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision
* Identify and verify specifications by examining architectural documents and performing calculations for proper fit and function
* Work cooperatively with management and shop team to provide drawings with proper construction methods and custom engineering as needed
* Produce shop drawings to JA Eisch standards for production team to produce casework and custom fixtures
* Build and maintain drafting programs per JA Eisch standards
* Work closely with project managers and president to ensure all drawings going to the shop have all vital information
* Track and monitor progress, proposals, timelines, and schedule as they pertain to projects
* Direct and supervise the activities of the team to achieve quality of work and ensure projects are completed on a schedule and fulfilled to customer satisfaction.
* Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback or recognition when necessary
* Provide input for performance reviews and reward decision, involved in all department hiring and firing decisions
* Work with General Manager on continuous process improvements
* Program CNC cutting with wood wop, AutoCAD and CV software
* Consistently look for ways to improve and promote quality and efficiencies
* Quality control for all aspects of a job, bringing issues or concerns to General Manager
* Observe and comply with safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions
* Set team goals for productivity, training, and continuous improvement to reflect J.
A.
Eisch goals and strategic objectives
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum 3 years working with Cabinet Vision required
* CV 2021 or newer experience preferred
* Leadership experience in related role preferred
* 2 years AutoCAD experience preferred
* CNC knowledge preferred
* Must understand layout, design and fabrication concepts with ability to translate into working drawings for the production team
* Proven ability to read and interpret Architectural blueprints and specifications
