*POSITION SUMMARY*
Matthews Tire is looking for motivated and dedicated employees that possess a strong knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical systems, and diagnostics.
*Direct hire* base hourly wage *PLUS *commission!
Locations: *Appleton, Menasha, Fond du Lac, Waupaca, and Green Bay*
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Maintains professional image, clean and well groomed.
* Completes inspection checklists on vehicles.
Shares results with Service Manager.
* Tests and examines vehicles to determine repairs required utilizing diagnostic tools.
Visually inspects vehicles.
Test drives vehicles to listen for sounds to determine malfunctions.
Recommends required repairs to Service Manager.
* Performs complex vehicle repairs and maintenance.
* Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed effectively.
*DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS*
* Positive attitude.
* Advanced knowledge of vehicle service and repair.
* Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions
* Conduct automotive diagnostics using specialized equipment and software
* Valid driver’s license.
* ASE certifications.
* High School or GED Equivalent, or currently enrolled.
