Description
The Product Environmental Compliance Specialist will play a pivotal role monitoring and gathering of environmental information for our products.
They will work closely with sales teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, support sustainable practices, and help the company achieve its environmental goals.
Essential Functions
Stay updated on environmental regulations, directives, and standards relevant to fasteners and related components
Conduct environmental assessments of products to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
Collect and analyze data related to the environmental impact of products
Prepare documentation for compliance and sustainability reporting
Work with suppliers to ensure that products meet environmental standards
All other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks is advantageous
Required Education and Experience
Associates degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field preferred
Proven experience in environmental compliance, sustainability or related roles, preferably in the fastener distribution or related industry

Compensation: $16-18/hour (actual compensation will vary and will be based on various factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role)
