The Home is a 24/7/365 long-term care facility that specializes in providing comfort, support, and professional healthcare services to elderly or disabled veterans and their spouses.
The facility is on the picturesque shoreline of the Chain O'Lakes, off Highway 10 between Stevens Point and Appleton.

Position Summary Under general supervision of the DON, the Shift Nursing Supervisor administers and directs nursing services for an assigned licensed building on the WVHK campus.
As a member of the nursing management team, the incumbent supervises direct and indirect patient care, collaborates in the development, initiation, monitoring and evaluation of programs that ensure quality member care, appropriate staffing, compliance with state, federal and Veterans Administration regulations, and compliance with WDVA and WVHK policies and procedures.
The incumbent has supervisory responsibility and accountability for all nursing employees during assigned shifts, and the cost-effective utilization of staff, equipment and other resources assigned to Nursing Services.
This position focuses on quality using WDVA’s Mission & Philosophy as a guide to care provision.

Salary Information Starting salary will be between $111,654 and $113,943 per year, depending on candidate qualifications, plus an attractive employee benefits package.
Nursing Supervisor is in pay schedule-pay range 50-11.
For current State employees, pay on appointment will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin Compensation Plan.
This position is not represented by a bargaining unit.
Job Details The PM Nursing Supervisor works 3:00 p.
m.
to 11:30 p.
m.
with a weekend rotation every two or three weeks.
When working a weekend rotation, the incumbent selects weekdays off in collaboration with other Shift Nursing Supervisors to ensure full coverage for all days.
Due to the nature of the positions, WDVA will conduct a criminal background check prior to an offer of employment.
Employment in this position is contingent upon passing a pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) skin test.
Employees at this healthcare facility are required to report their COVID-19 vaccination status, whether vaccinated or not, and provide supporting documentation if vaccinated.
Newly hired employees will be required to submit this information by their third day of employment.
A 12-month probationary period may be required.
Qualifications This position requires that the incumbent hold a Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
