About The Opportunity
The senior benefit analyst will administer Menasha Corporation’s retirement plans, including two qualified 401(k) plans, a non-qualified defined contribution plan, a retiree life plan, and a retiree medical plan.
This position is also responsible for life, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), long-term disability (LTD) and short-term disability (STD) benefits and has some involvement with the Canadian retirement savings plan.
Essential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this position.
The incumbent may perform some or all these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all- inclusive list.
Other duties may be assigned.
Perform the overall administration of Menasha Corporation’s retirement plans and life, AD&D, LTD and STD Benefits
Serve as liaison between the benefits department and third-party administrators (TPA), plant HR staff and employees, providing assistance and problem resolution for benefit plans
Coordinate and carry out all plan compliance related work
Utilize advanced excel abilities to conduct plan analysis, audits, adjustments, and reporting
Work with TPA on plan documents and employee notices/education
Participate in area and industry surveys
Administer all retirement plan funding and file exchanges
Keep current in all aspects of Human Resources through formal and informal training, participation in local and national professional organizations, continues learning and reading, and general professional curiosity
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other relevant fields
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with retirement and other benefit plans experience
Strong communication skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of retirement and other benefit plan programs, processes, issues and considerations
Ability to implement retirement and other benefit plan programs
Knowledge of federal, state and local laws affecting benefit plan practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Proven record of exceling in detail-oriented work
Ability to solve problems independently and ask questions as appropriate
