Summary:
Our Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested.
All team members are responsible for safety.
This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.
This would be for 3rd Shift, Sunday - Thursday 9:00PM to 5:00AM – Rotating Saturdays based on production needs, with a pay rate of $29.
82 (Not Negotiable ) with a $1 Shift Differential, along with Benefits, Medical/Vision/Dental & the chance to join a great team!
Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Food Industry or other QA type experience.
Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; good problem identification and problem solving skills; math and organizational skills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; must function well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and when needed.
Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs.
or less).
