We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team.
As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing and submitting claims, ensuring timely reimbursement, and maintaining accurate billing records.
This role requires a strong understanding of insurance and billing procedures.
*Responsibilities:* - Review and verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information - Insurance Verification and Pre-authorization - Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies - Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement - Resolve billing discrepancies or issues with insurance companies - Maintain accurate records of all billing activities - Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance and billing regulations - Provide support to patients regarding billing inquiries - Collaborate with Clinicians to ensure end to end positive experiences for our clients - Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient Confidentiality *Experience:* - Experience as a Billing Specialist in a clinical or medical office setting - Proficient in ICD-10, CPT Codes, and other medical coding systems - Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Positive attitude and ability to think flexibly If you are a dedicated professional with a strong background in billing, we invite you to apply for this position.
