Retail Cashier Part Time

Kitz & Pfeil, Inc- Oshkosh Job Description Cashier (part time) Main duties include ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change, answering in-coming phone calls and direct to proper person.
Help with checking-in merchandise.
Works under manager and must rely on instructions.
This is a part time position evenings and weekends.
Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers Scan items and collect payments Issue change, receipts, refunds Redeem coupons Bag items carefully Greet customers when entering or leaving the store Process returns and check to see if items are damaged Answer customers' questions or get help to answer the question Answer in-coming phone calls Basic Math Good Communication Telephone Etiquette Customer Service Dependability Efficiency Friendly Attention to Detail Sales Point of Sale Systems (POS) Positive Attitude PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS: Must be able to lift & move items to be scanned Ability to stand for an extended period
