The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and helping with the operation of the store.
Adventure Games and Hobby is a family-owned small business in Oshkosh with the goal of providing the best Tabletop Gaming experience in Wisconsin.
We have a wide variety of products including Miniatures Games, Board Games, Collectible Card Games, RPG’s, and Hobby Supplies as well as books, puzzles and plushies.
Responsibilities:
• Greeting customers when they enter the store.
• Creating an atmosphere that balances a casual/friendly feel with professionalism.
• Helping customers, aged child to adult, learn their way around the store and develop an understanding of what Tabletop Gaming encompasses.
• Recommending different games based on customer interests.
• Making sure the environment is safe and welcoming.
• Organizing and stocking products.
• Receiving shipments and processing them into the POS system.
• Helping customers at checkout.
• Cleaning floors, display cases, windows, shelving, and restrooms.
• Facilitating a variety of gaming events.
• Scheduling events (full time employees only).
• Standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy containers upwards of 50 pounds.
• Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.
Experience:
• A background in customer service is preferred.
• Adept at cash handling and making change.
• A demonstration that you know how to work and relate well with people.
• An ability to work weekdays and weekends, in accordance with posted store hours.
Job Type: Part-time and Full-Time positions available
Pay: $13.
00 - $15.
00 per hour, based on experience.
Potential for pay increases based on product knowledge certifications.
Ex: MTG Judge, Pokemon Professor Program, etc.
Expected hours: Very Flexible Scheduling! Part Time - 10 – 30 per week , Full Time - 32 - 40 per week
