Kidzland Child Care Center in Little Chute is looking for a caring, passionate, responsible individual to work as an Assistant Teacher with infants aged 6 weeks to 9 months old.
Because this room is most often a child and family's first experience with childcare, candidates must be confident and reliable with excellent communication skills.
While we are willing to train the right candidate, it is preferred that applicants have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with infants in a childcare setting.
*This position is also open as a Co-Lead position for those with a WI Registry level of 7 or higher.
Rate of pay and responsibilities would reflect that.

Assistant Teachers must meet the WI State licensing minimums within 6 months of hire.
Pay is 15/hr *full-time only - Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm*
Responsibilities for Assistant Teachers include:
* Meeting the WI State Licensing Requirements for Assistant Child Care Worker within 6 months of hire as well as meeting yearly continuing education requirements
* Assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing lesson plans and maintaining a positive classroom environment that aligns with YoungStar
* Must be willing and able to communicate effectively with children and their grownups to ensure a smooth transition in care between home and Kidzland.
* Must be willing and able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, be comfortable sitting on the floor, and be able to bend, twist, and lift
* Infant teachers are responsible for ensuring that each individual child's needs are met in a timely manner, and include but are not limited to: diapering, preparing and feeding bottles and meals, rocking, soothing, singing, reading and talking to infants.
