The primary responsibility of this position is to provide a superior level of customer service to benefit accounts through daily interaction by responding to client needs, inquiries, and concerns.
This position’s focus is providing these services to all self-funded clients and fully insured clients with over 100 lives, with exception.
Serving as the conduit between the client, Senior Account Executive, Risk Advisor, and carrier, the Account Manager is responsible for account maintenance under the direction of any of the above-mentioned parties.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
3+ years of employee benefits experience
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office Applications
Emphasis in Excel using formulas, macros, and pivot tables
Emphasis in PowerPoint
Accreditation
Wisconsin Life and Health insurance license required within 60 days of employment and maintained throughout the course of employment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Generate commission BCAAs.
Direct clients when required compliance tasks are due; PCORI fees, Medicare Part D, Schedule A requests, etc.
Manage and facilitate the process for employee benefit additions, terminations, and change when necessary.
Create meeting materials, renewal materials, benefit booklets, SPD wrap documents, PowerPoint presentations, employee election forms, etc.
Manage and schedule meeting follow ups for renewal, mid-year, and client touch base meetings.
Maintain the client account in our agency management system; attaching documents, adding new policies, SPD, plan design, etc.
Data entry into benchmark software and renewal software.
Respond to basic service and claims issues and communicate outcomes to Sr Account Executives and/or clients.
Partner with the Senior Account Executives and Risk Advisors to capture the client’s Action Plan and ensure that all deadlines are met.
