Description:
Position Summary:
The Media Services Sales Support will work closely with the Engineering Services Manager – Cabling & Physical Security and all Media Services Engineering team for quoting product offerings, ensuring quality of work, and excellent customer service while increasing sales.
They will also ensure accurate information is collected and uploaded to our technical team for project and service work.
Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:
Quote orders for high end media services for Sales team.
Register projects with vendors.
Negotiate discounts and proper pricing with our vendors/manufacturers.
Ensure accurate margin and descriptions of product when quoting to customers.
Attend weekly forecasting, project management, and scheduling meetings to ensure accurate documentation of quotes and scope of work.
Work with Engineering to convert scope of work into a customer facing legal document or Statement of Work.
Understand solutions currently utilized by customers to identify new opportunities and communicate these to the appropriate solutions engineer.
Handle incoming issues and problems and escalate issues to higher-level staff as needed.
Provide innovative ideas on sales support process improvements.
Collaborate with other ISR’s to build a team atmosphere.
Develop positive relationships with colleagues in the Sales, Finance and Engineer/Service organizations.
Utilize technical project management hours (billable) for gathering documentation, updating Plangrid with accurate job information, ensuring post documentation is completed, and stored in the correct places.
Minimum of 250 hours billed per fiscal year, prorated based on start date.
These charge hour requirements will be balanced against professional development and on-the-job training.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or 1 to 3+ years proven experience in an IT Sales Support role
High level of attention to detail, an aptitude to learn, the ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects
Must be proficient using a computer and working with Microsoft Office software
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
2+ years prior Sales or Inside Sales experience
2+ years’ experience in the IT industry
Cabling, Physical Security, and/or Audio-Visual certifications
