We are a large, outcome oriented, family owned scrap metal recycling company with facilities in Nebraska and Wisconsin, looking for an Account Manager.
To accommodate our growth, we are seeking a successful candidate to be responsible for new account acquisition and servicing of industrial manufacturers in the Wisconsin marketplace.
This job would consist of cold calling or new accounts, sales of the company's products and services, contractual negotiations for new business, market analysis, and record keeping.
Existing account maintenance would include ongoing customer visits, product pricing, service arrangements, problem resolution, and contract renewals.
To be successful in this job, the candidate must possess strong communication, people and writing skills, have an outgoing personality, the ability to negotiate, great organizational skills, and the ability to work well with other departments.
This position requires a sales and/or purchasing background, computer skills; including Word and Excel, with a background in a metals related field.
Knowledge of manufacturing and advanced education is a plus.
