Position Overview: Explore horticulture and the evolving landscape industry.
As an Design Build Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales through lead generation, cold calling, and client relations.
This position is responsible for expanding the Vande Hey Company business plan by growing our client base.
Acquire new leads by networking and prospecting clients who profile our brand and demographic.
Present and sell Design Build installation and services to new and existing clients.
Sales Responsibilities Communication Operates and manages incoming communication to phone, email and teams communications.
Day to Day requirements: Client Service Maintain positive long-term client relations.
Identify client concerns to resolve issues and improve processes for efficiencies.
Team Work Working collaboratively with design for the completion of the design process.
Develop relationships with Project Managers and Landscape Technicians to provide the highest level of customer service and exceed client expectations.
Responsible for other duties as assigned or needed to collaboratively help others.
Communications Consulting with Manager, Production Supervisors, and Project/Property Managers on material and site concerns and additional duties.
Judgment Decision- Making Skills Establish marketing objectives to acquire the key components of the Design Build Sales Marketing plan.
Production of Quality of Work Develop and implement plans and strategies to attain new clients.
Increase sales to existing Vande Hey Design Build Clients.
Know and understand Design Build products and services.
Exceptional Performance Gain knowledge on products and installation of hardscape and softscape included by not limited to; paver products, low voltage lighting, perennials, trees, shrubs, etc.

Additional Responsibilities: Navigating and utilizing Asset modules CX and PM.
Qualifications: The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude Ability to use a smart phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting.
Ability to learn Computer software for client management.
Education and Training Completion of company training assignments.
Business or marketing degree preferred.
High School Diploma- Required Personal Growth and Development Experience Sales Experience of 3 or more years- Required Horticultural Experience of 3 or more years- Preferred License Valid Commercial Driver’s License- required, clean record, ability to travel.
Personal Characteristics Profile: Must work well independently and a part of a team.
Must be self-motivated, be able to make accurate and timely decisions daily.
Have a good understanding of horticultural practice.
Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
Physical Requirements: Sitting for prolonged periods from 4 or more hours.
Twisting or bending for 2 hours or more.
