Job Summary:
The Senior Software Engineer will direct and participate in the concept and design of complex engineering product or process projects for release to production in a manner to ensure products provide superior performance, durability, quality, and serviceability.

Duties/Responsibilities:
·Design and promote new components and sub processes
·Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas; evaluate new products or processes; perform product maintenance
·Keep up to date on new technologies or develop new technologies
·Communicate technical information to customers, team members, suppliers and other units
·Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers and suppliers
Required Skills/Abilities:
·Knowledge of Object-oriented programming
·Knowledge of design patterns and system architecture
·Independent and structured way of working
·Analytical thinker with problem solving skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems or equivalent
5+ years of software development experience, preferably in the embedded domain
Expert level of C/C++ programming languages
Experience with Agile development
Experience with embedded systems
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
