BetterLife’s Member Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in implementing a variety of innovative initiatives and programs aimed at fostering member engagement and creating a positive impact in their communities.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Support our vibrant community-based network of member groups by assisting leaders with invitations, logistics, materials, and tracking participation.
Play a key role in the creation of our quarterly member magazine and monthly communications, actively engaging with members to generate content ideas and assisting in drafting member articles.
Oversee inventory and supplies for member events and activities, ensuring seamless execution.
Plan, execute, and contribute to the management of large-scale member events.
Gather and analyze member data, actively enhancing reporting systems to provide valuable insights.
Assist in the development and research of new member programs, contributing to the continuous growth and improvement of our offerings.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, volunteer coordination, and event management.

Flexibility to work outside regular business hours during events.
Familiarity with CRM tools and data analytics is a plus.
This position requires up to 20% travel.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position is performed in an office environment (after training could be hybrid) and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Individuals must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
