We are seeking a motivated Sales Support Specialist to join our team part-time (under 30 hours).
You will play a vital role in driving the achievement of VBS's future growth goals.
The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our sales team and ensuring a positive customer experience.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic and growing company.
Position Responsibilities: Promote Cooperative values and contribute to the development of strategies to support business objectives and growth plans.
Collaborate with other Sales Support Specialists to enhance team effectiveness and responsiveness to customers and internal stakeholders.
Document all requests accurately and ensure timely completion.
Maintain organized filing of documents according to outlined naming conventions.
Effectively communicate documentation needs with vendors to obtain necessary information for customer requests.
Demonstrate understanding of document nuances and proactively search for information beyond typical areas.
Support assigned business areas with tactical execution tasks as needed.
Fulfill management reporting requirements promptly.
Identify areas for process enhancement or improvement and communicate suggestions to leadership.
Professionally represent yourself and VBS at all times.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Work efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Provide emergency backup for authorized responsibilities outside of the current role, as requested by sales leadership.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to adapt and learn new processes and systems.
Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
