*Summary: *As a sales representative you are responsible to represent and manage Allstate Liquor & Wine Co.
extensive portfolio to new and pre-existing customer accounts.
Deliver effective sales presentations, responsible to sell and fully merchandise all products, as well as develop and build professional relationships with assigned customer accounts that result in growing distribution, market share and overall sales and have the ability to open new accounts.
Responsibilities/Duties: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) * *Selling* * Understanding and knowledgeable with Allstate Liquor & Wine Co.
, categories, competitive conditions and market trends and be able to translate into a sales plan to grow company and customer business.
* Understanding Allstate Liquor & Wine Co.
programs and be able to present to customers to attain sales quotas, distribution goals and merchandising objectives.
* Be able to request and sell-in rail/house pours, “wine by the glass” placements, floor displays, shelf placements, ad/sale features.
* Pitch, plan and implement drink features and promotional nights * Maintain and update customer inventory, wine lists and drink menus to feature Allstate Liquor & Wine Co.
products * Conduct staff trainings, promotional events and participate in customer tastings as needed * Effective use of Point of Sale (P.
O.
S.
) such as table tents, bar cards, bar kits, displays, racks, shelf units, permanent and promotional signage.

* Manage account receivables in cooperation with the credit department while complying with the company policies and standards of credit and collections.

* Knowing the volume trends in each of your assigned accounts and the business strategies and practices of each of your customer accounts.
* Managing your time effectively and contact all customer accounts on a regular and scheduled basis * Adhere to federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations that govern our industry.
* *Administration* * Maintain and update route lists to include buyer information, sales call times, call back times and merchandising detail * Providing accurate daily reports and preplans, territory and account specific objectives toward goal attainment.
* Complying with all policies and procedures of Allstate Liquor & Wine Co.
* Make sure you have all the necessary pricing, sell sheets, samples and point of sale material.
* Complete and submit all reports, forms and surveys requested by management * Maintain accurate and complete sales records * Work with the credit department and turn in all appropriate paperwork for new accounts * Attend and participate in all scheduled company meetings, outings and events as requested Personal Habits\* * Projecting a professional appearance.
* Maintaining a positive approach to selling and servicing Allstate Liquor & Wine Co.
products.
* *Servicing* * Effectively managing and resolving account issues: follow up and follow through on customer commitments and concerns \* * Ability to overcome objections, ask for the sale and submit and accurate order and avoiding out of stocks.
* Maintaining products in highly sellable condition.

*EDUCATION: * * Minimum of a High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred * 2-5 years High-end sales experience, especially selling wine & spirits as well as merchandising consumer products to customer account.
* Broad base of knowledge regarding wine is required.
*Specific Knowledge, skills, licenses, certifications etc:* * Valid driver’s license, good driving record, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation is required.
* Strong working knowledge of pricing mathematics and requirements.
* Must maintain a professional behavior and appearance at all times * Attention to Detail: Working independently to accomplish tasks quickly and accurately and showing concern for all aspects of the job.
Quality of work must be maintained at a high level – accurate, thorough and neat.
Must have the ability to accomplish work on-time.
* Organizational Skills: Candidate must be able to demonstrate high levels of organization, multi-tasking and be able to prioritize work duties to attain deadlines.

*Attendance and Dependability:* This is a full-time position, hours vary, must be willing to maintain flexible schedule, complete work in a timely and accurate manner willing to stay until the work is complete Job Types: Full-time, Commission Pay: $50,000.
