Sales Representative
We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking Sales Representative who will identify, develop and maintain relationships with assigned accounts to generate business that is profitable, and sustainable.
Individuals in this position must operate at a high level of productivity.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
* Make sales calls to current and potential distributors or customers to promote products, check inventories, review promotional supplies.
* Develop target accounts and specific product lines.
* Keep informed on products, market trends and competitor activities.
* Negotiate mutually agreeable terms with customers and vendors.
* Attend regional meetings and participate in sales training and product knowledge sessions as required.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidates with the following required/desired skills should apply:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing/Business or related field.
* 1-2 years of sales experience preferred, but not necessary.
* 1-2 years of steel sales experience preferred, but not necessary.
* High level of negotiating skills, persuasiveness, versatility, organization, planning problem solving, creativity
and tenacity.
